Dealing Specialist – Dealing/Trading Operations on the Crypto Exchange/OTC Platforms
Overview
The person operates the daily Trading and Dealing activities of the exchange. The role focuses on executing client orders and transactions, supervising order and transaction flows for both Crypto and Fiat assets, monitoring and management of client and company assets on LPs’ sides, contributing to bettering-off the process flows, carrying out reconciliations and Ad-hoc reporting all under supervision of the Dealing Head.
Main Duties
- Monitor book integrity in active markets and check order flows.
- Ensure sufficient liquidity across trading pairs and signal issues to the Dealing Lead.
- Carry-out Order Pricing over Liquidity Providers.
- Run daily trade checks and verify executed orders.
- Support reconciliation between trade data and system reports.
- Assist market makers during events and support liquidity monitoring.
- Escalate unusual trading patterns and transaction activities to compliance and risk.
- Prepare daily dealing logs and operational reports.
- Assist during incidents and help restore normal trading.
- Support new listings from profitability&scalability and operational excellence perspectives.
Must Have
- Min. 1-3 year experience in a Crypto Exchange or Brokerage Trading Desk.
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, Finance, Statistics, Business or STEM Fields.
- Good understanding of order books, pricing dynamics and execution flows.
- Devotion to Team’s Success, and Conformance to Laws&Regulations.
- Comfort with dashboards, trade logs and reporting tools.
- Solid knowledge of market making and liquidity behavior.
- Strong attention to detail and clear communication.
- Comfort with working in shifts covering 7/24 in a fully On-site setting in Dubai.
Nice To Have
- Min. 3-5 year experience in a Crypto Exchange or Brokerage Trading Desk.
- Min. Master’s Degree in related fields.
- Min. CFA Level 1 or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Deep understanding in Pricing Strategies, Risk Management in High Frequency-Algorithmic Trading; also that in Price Theory, Asset Pricing, Stochastic Processes is a huge plus.
- Experience in Programming Languages; also that in Low-level languages like Phyton, C++, React and R is a plus.
- Experience in operating in and integration with REST APIs, FIX Protocol, OMSs is a plus.
